Cat is an Art History student with a Women's and Gender Studies minor focusing on modern and contemporary feminist art. She also works in salon reception. Cat joined OBO in February 2016, when she and her best friend/roommate Emma decided to go to a show on a whim one night. Cat currently plays Columbia but plans on getting more roles under her belt in the coming year. If you see her around, come say hi!

When did you first see Rocky Horror?

I was 13, so probably late 2007

When did you join the cast?

February 2016

Why did you join the cast?

We had just gotten a new place and I had a new job and we decided to go and then when Adam asked anyone who wanted to join cast to come up afterward we just thought "why not?" and did it.

What keeps you going to Rocky every weekend?

The people tbh. I love making an audience have as much fun as I did my first time.

How has Rocky Horror affected your life?

It's introduced me to some of the best friends of my life, and I couldn't be more grateful.

What do you think of Shock Treatment?'s bad. It's fun! But it's bad. I probably wouldn't watch it more than once a year.

What do you do when you're not at Rocky?

I'm a salon receptionist and full time student at Texas State but in my free time I just like to do art and hang out with my roommate and watch TV and be outside I guess

What is your dream job?

I want to work in museum outreach and teach communities that might not traditionally have access to art history and other art resources about it because I want to be able to spread the joy that art brings me to those who might not have the opportunity to enjoy it.

Is there anything you want people to know about you?

It's really important to me that people know that anyone can perform any Rocky role, regardless of how they look. It gave me a lot of confidence to see what a diverse cast of performers OBO has, and I hope that people in the audience can see someone with my body type perform and have a good time and know that they can do it, too.
