Dr. Scott

When did you first see Rocky Horror?
When did you join the cast?

1975. San Antonio Texas - the theater at 410 and I-10 west side. The first night it played in SA.

October, 2014

Why did you join the cast?

Specifically Q/OBO? Because, oddly enough, after standing up and singing 'I'm going home'' one night, a woman I'd never met before asked me if I'd ever been cast, and I just had to be a smart ass and say 'before you were born...' and I knew that even with an 18 year break, I'd have to do the Time Warp again!

What keeps you going to Rocky every weekend?

The cast and the joy of putting on the show.

How has Rocky Horror affected your life?

Wow. So many ways. But I think most important is seeing how the show affects others...and how even with turnover, we have one of the longest continually performing casts in the US!

What do you think of Shock Treatment?

I would have liked more cast continuity frankly. But each stands on its own merits.

What do you do when you're not at Rocky?

I'm a mild mannered reporter for a great metropolitan newspaper (yeah, right)

What is your dream job?

No idea at all. Something allowing creativity...

Is there anything you want people to know about you?

My favorite place on Earth is the Playa during Burning Man.
